October Member Meeting

Our speaker for October 16th, 2017 will be Rich Ostoff. Rich is the author of three fly-fishing books. Many of you are familiar with his books.  His first book is, Active Nymphing where he presents various strategies for casting, rigging, and moving the nymph. His second book is called, No hatch To match. Here he discusses strategies for fishing between hatches. His third and final book is entitled, FlyFishing The Rocky Mountains Backcountry. Rich has also written for various fly-fishing and fly-tying magazines including, Outdoor Life, FlyFishing and Tying Journal, American Angler, FlyTyer, andMidwest Flyfishing.

 

Rich lives in Mauston,  Wisconsin and guides fly-fishing for trout ob his home waters here in the fertile spring creeks of Wisconsin. He also markets his own fly patterns for those interested in using them. Please come and join us, on October 16th, 2017 at 7:00p.m. in the Blackhawk Room(1315) on the campus of Blackhawk Technical College located between Janesville and Beloit on County G or Prairie Avenue.
